Cheyenne Sonntag MD, FACS

Dr. Cheyenne “Cassie” Sonntag is a trauma and acute care surgeon at Stanford University, where she provides comprehensive care for critically injured and acutely ill surgical patients. She serves as Associate Medical Director of Emergency General Surgery, Associate Surgical Clerkship Director, and the Acute Care Surgery Associate Fellowship Director. Her clinical and academic interests include injury prevention, critical care, and improving outcomes for vulnerable surgical populations. Dr. Sonntag is deeply committed to surgical education and mentorship, helping to train and inspire the next generation of surgeons.
